“White-label” is a term that gets used often, but rarely means much. In most cases, it’s cosmetic - logos, colors and a few editable elements. As a product and design team focused on Web3 communities, we knew from the beginning that this wouldn’t be enough.

When we set out to build Snag’s admin experience, we had a clear goal: give creators and communities real ownership over their platforms - not just how they look, but how they behave, how they evolve, and how they create value.

True ownership in Web3 isn’t just visual. It’s structural, behavioral and programmable. At Snag, we give teams control across all three.

In a space defined by participation and identity, it’s not enough to hand over the frontend. The tools themselves need to adapt - to different audiences, incentives, content and engagement styles. That’s why we built Snag’s admin dashboard to be self-serve, modular and expressive, capable of powering fully branded, gamified onchain platforms.

Starting with the Basics

Every brand on Snag begins by defining its visual identity. They set core elements like colors, fonts and logos, but also make choices that are often overlooked, like favicons, social share images and custom URL slugs. These details may seem small, but they’re essential for building trust. When a community member clicks a campaign link on X, it should feel familiar, intentional and legitimate.

Partners also configure authentication: which wallets to support, whether to allow social logins and which networks to enable. These aren’t just technical options - they define how communities access the platform and how they see themselves within it.

Controlling the Experience

The second layer of control is structural. Snag’s admin lets partners decide how their platform is organized - what users see, what’s prioritized, which flows are surfaced and how they move through it.

They can design their navigation, define a homepage and decide which sections appear and in what order. They can create landing pages for specific campaigns, standalone token claims or microsites for showcasing their ecosystem. All of these can be connected in smart ways, forming a cohesive user journey.

This flexibility gives teams the freedom to shape their platform around what matters most, whether that’s onboarding, showcasing new drops, surfacing key actions or highlighting seasonal activations.

Defining Engagement Logic

With Snag’s rule engine, partners can define any user action as a trigger - joining, connecting, reacting, holding, buying, voting, sharing and 50+ more. To those actions, they can attach rewards like points, multipliers and badges. They can structure campaigns as simple one-off quests or build quest chains with required steps, timing and conditions. It’s entirely up to them.

Every community values different behaviors, and Snag makes it easy to decide what matters - whether it’s social engagement, onchain activity, long-term holding, creative content or code contributions. It’s all available.

Partners also decide what these points and achievements actually mean. Maybe they unlock access to content. Maybe they’re exchanged for custom rewards. Maybe they’re converted into claimable onchain assets through a token claim.

What This Means for Our Team

Building this level of flexibility without overwhelming users is one of the harder design problems we’ve taken on. The more control you give, the more decisions a partner has to make. So our approach is modular: provide defaults and presets where possible, but allow customization at every layer for teams who want it.

We designed Snag’s admin experience with two types of users in mind:

  • Teams that want to launch quickly, with minimal configuration

  • Teams that want to fine-tune every detail, from copy to logic to layout

Supporting both required careful attention to hierarchy, terminology, and the ability to preview and adjust decisions iteratively. We continue to refine this balance as partners push the platform in new directions.

Looking Ahead

The admin tool has become the core of our product - supporting loyalty programs, token-based campaigns, IRL activations and everything in between. It’s where creative ideas become onchain products and where brand identity becomes product design.

As we move forward, our focus is on making the experience even more composable and extensible: better versioning, more logic options, deeper analytics and expanded integration with other onchain tools.

The goal stays the same: Give creators the tools to build community-driven experiences that are fully theirs, from backend rules to the final pixel.
