Konnex is a decentralized network for autonomous systems, building a marketplace where robots and drones contract with each other, license AI intelligence, and settle payments in stablecoins. Ahead of their token generation event, Konnex needed to bootstrap a large, active community and drive real onchain testnet activity, not just farm cheap engagement. They ran that campaign on Snag.

The Challenge
Konnex is pre-TGE, and their airdrop campaign had to do more than hand out points for social tasks. To bootstrap the network the right way, they needed to:
Attract a large community quickly through social and collaboration tasks
Reward long-term holders and genuine contributors, not users who complete cheap tasks once and leave
Drive real, recurring onchain activity on the KNX testnet
Track offchain and onchain signals, who holds Autonomous Units and who transacts on testnet, to reward the right behavior
What They Built
Konnex used Snag to build their pre-TGE campaign as a funnel rather than a flat task list. Social and limited-time collaboration tasks, joining communities, collaborating with other projects, and amplifying on social, bring users in at the top through a standard white-label template. From there, product tasks deliver the outsized rewards that keep users engaged: holding Konnex Autonomous Units earns a points multiplier that scales with commitment, 1.25x for one unit, 1.5x for two, and 1.75x for three, and completing testnet onchain onboarding, creating a wallet, getting test tokens, and sending transactions, earns points on a recurring weekly cadence.
Those product tasks run on Snag’s Programmable Incentives. On the back end, Snag tracks external data to see who actually holds Autonomous Units and who completes their testnet transactions each week, applying the right multiplier and distributing the weekly reward automatically. That is what lets Konnex reward sustained holding and real onchain volume rather than one-time social actions, turning the campaign into an engine for long-term contribution instead of short-term farming.
The Results
Over several months running the campaign, and still ahead of its token generation event, Konnex has seen:
500,000+ participants in the airdrop campaign
80,000 participants rewarded with multipliers for holding Konnex Autonomous Units
384,000+ weekly testnet onboarding rewards distributed for completing real onchain transactions
Why It Worked
By pairing top-of-funnel social tasks with product tasks that reward holding and recurring onchain activity, Konnex turned a standard airdrop campaign into a mechanism for building genuine, long-term contribution. The users who rose to the top were not the ones who completed a checklist once, but the ones holding Autonomous Units and transacting on testnet week after week, exactly the behavior a network wants heading into a token launch.
