Hey Snag team - we’re back with another exciting monthly product update going into September. While it’s easy to take your foot off the gas pedal in the dog days of summer, we made sure to stay committed to our goal: helping onboard the next millions of users into Web3. And how do we do that? By consistently listening to our partners and shipping phenomenal product features, week in, week out. Read below to learn more about supporting multiple reward currencies, our X impressions rule, making metadata smoother, and how we’re protecting our partners’ platforms from sybils.

Reward Users with Multiple Point Currencies in a Single Rule

One of our partners recently came to us with a smart request: "Can we reward users with more than one type of point at the same time?"

Until now, Snag supported the creation of multiple point currencies, but only enabled to reward 1 type of point currencies per rule. This month, we’ve changed that.

What's New

We’ve added multi-currency rewards - allowing partners to issue multiple point types for a single user action. This now gives you more creative control over how your ecosystem is incentivized.

Use cases we’re already seeing:

  • Launching multiple token types (e.g. $ALPHA + $BETA)

  • Creating season-based point systems (Season 1 Points vs. Season 2 Points)

  • Differentiating by purpose (e.g. Social Points vs. Onchain Action Points)

Try It Now in Admin

Inside our no-code admin panel, partners can:

  • Select multiple currencies during rule creation

  • Reward with points + badges in a single action

This opens up a whole new layer of reward strategy - whether you’re preparing for a token launch, testing new gamification mechanics, or building community systems that scale with you.

New Rule: Reward Users Based on X Post Impressions

Snag already supports a dozen ways to reward social engagement across X, from reposts and replies to keyword mentions, and we just went deeper.

This month, we launched a new rule that lets partners track and reward users based on the number of impressions their X posts receive. That means you can now drive real reach and reward the most impactful community members, creating mindshare around your project.

Why It Matters

This rule helps surface and reward posts that actually influence others’ algorithms.

With the X Post Impressions rule, partners can:

  • Set impression thresholds (e.g. 100–1,000 or 1,000–10,000)

  • Assign custom point rewards per range

  • Encourage the creation of high-performing content (memes, threads, video clips, etc.)

  • Track and verify completion without relying on the X API

This moves beyond 1:1 actions like “like” or “retweet” and starts rewarding users who truly move the needle in creating engaging content.

If you're looking to incentivize more social content about your project, here’s what you can now track and reward across X.

Automated Sybil Blocking Now Live

One of Snag’s core strengths has always been our in-house anti-sybil analytics, helping partners ensure that tokens and rewards are going to real users, not bot farms.

This month, we’re taking that even further by launching automated sybil user blocking, so partners don’t have to manually flag or review suspicious users anymore, by letting us block users for them automatically.

How It Works

Every Snag partner gets access to our onchain CRM and standard anti-sybil dashboards, but for teams preparing for TGEs or large airdrops, we also offer custom sybil detection scoring.

Now, we’ve added a new layer:

  • Snag automatically tracks a user’s sybil score daily

  • If that score exceeds 95 out of 100, the user is flagged

  • Those users are automatically removed from your loyalty program (if turned on)

  • They’re also blocked from earning future rewards going forward

This update gives partners full confidence that incentive programs are being used by real contributors, not low-effort, high-frequency actors gaming the system.

If you’re building toward a token launch, this is a must-have layer of protection.

Cleaner Link Sharing with Social Preview Templates

Before this update, when partners shared Snag platform links on X or other social channels, there was one problem…no preview appeared. This made posts look empty, broken, or just plain boring.

We fixed that!

What’s New

Snag now auto-generates a default social preview image whenever a partner shares a campaign, rule, or platform link. These previews are styled to reflect your brand and look sharp across all major platforms.

The default template pulls from your:

  • Logo

  • Platform name

  • Brand colors

  • Font styles

Plus, we added a new setting in Platform Settings in admin to let you upload your own custom preview image if you want full creative control.

Whether you’re announcing a new loyalty campaign or dropping a quest link, your posts will now look clean, branded, and click-worthy by default.
